Eric Koston

Eric Koston (born November 7, 1975 in Bangkok, Thailand) is a Thai-American professional skateboarder who grew up in San Bernardino, California.

Eric is featured in the video games, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, Tony Hawk's Underground, Tony Hawk's Underground 2, Skate 2, Skate 3, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD.

In 1992, Koston first got sponsored by the "101 Team", and moved to Los Angeles, CA. He officially turned pro in 1993 when he joined the "H-Street Team". Koston was most known for his amazing Nollie-based and switch-based skills that seemed impossible during that time. His career has been highlighted by his 1st place in the 2000 Globe World Contest, X Games and Gravity Games, his 1st place win in the 2002 Gravity Games Street, and his 1st place in the 2003 X Games Street Competition, X Games Global Championship and Gravity Games. He was named ESPN Action Sports and Music Awards Skateboarder of the Year in both 2001 & 2002. Koston was in Yeah Right, and Mouse, both a Girl skateboard film, "Fully Flared", a Lakai skateboard film. and "éMenikmati", a éFootwear Film.
