Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz is a playable level in Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix. It is the first Story Mode level in Remix, making it the start of the World Destruction Tour, as opposed to Boston. Santa Cruz reappears in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland as the 2nd level in Classic Mode.

Origin

The level is based on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Notable landmarks include the pier, Derby and Fun Spot Skateparks, and the arcade/amusement park.

Trivia

• The amusement park is unlocked by finding Zephyrus, who is friends with the security guard.
• In both THUG2 Remix and THAW, Santa Cruz has a Classic Mode goal involving knocking down shoes from wires. The locations of the shoes vary between games.
• The THAW version of the level has the arcade amusement park section was removed.
• In THAW, a man can be heard defecating and groaning inside one of the porta potties.
