Vans Skatepark is a game level in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. In the story mode, the Skatepark is located in Downtown Los Angeles, and is where the player competes in the Tony Hawk AMJAM.
Origin[]
Vans Skatepark is based on the real-life park of the same name, located at the Outlets at Orange in West Orange California. The skatepark was host to the annual Vans Pro-Tec Pool Party until 2020, when the park indefinitely closed after BMX rider Tyler Kanarr died after a fall in the Combi Bowl.[1]
Trivia[]
- There is a secret area in the Vans Skatepark. To get into this area the player must Wallplant a pair of doors that are shut. The doors are located by a silver rail at the back of the section with humps. The doors can also be busted by vert transferring into the hidden room.
- If the player board whacks the Powerade machines, a Powerade flies out of the machine. This can be repeated multiple times.
- If the player board whacks the electrical box by the pool, they will be electrocuted.
